A team DOM volunteers have gone to see some of the areas hit by the recent flood. Charanjit Singh, Kaptan Singh, Peter Mann and Herkomal Patara are there now witnessing the aftermath and helping some of those communities that are victims of this disaster.

The University of Birmingham hosted the UK’s Sikh community as they mark the 550th birth anniversary of the founder of the faith, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Speakers from across the Sikh community took part in a programme of workshops and talks. The focus being on prayer, service, education and dialogue.

Container is donated to support flood victims
With the financial support of Mr Peter Mann, and Mr Ravinder Kataria, who are both successful business men, we were able to prepare and send a container on
Mr Tersam Lal turns 85 this year. This year marks his 26th year as founder and chair of the Divine Onkar Mission. Whilst recovery from a recent knee operation he reflects on his journey so far.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr Patara for his efforts of wingwalk to raise awareness and skydive to raise funds for the abandoned babies project and solar energy panels project for the school and orphanage.
