Two forgotten and impoverished small villages, Koynarbera and Khaurbera in the district of Pethoria, came to the attention of DOM. We learnt that although, the men in the villages were skilled traders, they could not make enough money to feed their families. Their villages were not easily accessible; this proves to be a problem in accessing education for their children or health care at the time of illness.
DOM has stepped in to support and sustain the villages; provided electricity, clean drinking water as well as a reservoir for irrigation purposes. Working through difficult terrain, made up of rocky ground and large boulders; a road has been built to help easier access to the village.
A small school has been established, so the children can access some basic education.
