Partnership with Tribe & AWW
In January 2015, tribe partnered with the Divine Onkar Mission (DOM) and architect company AWW for a special art box project working at one of DOM's main centres in Jharkhand. AWW very kindly sponsored the project, donating funds to cover art materials, paints and other costs. Without their help this project would never happened. DOM work with some of the poorest communities in India, bringing essential healthcare, support and education to a wide range of beneficiaries. This art box project was designed and delivered entirely by DOM's beneficiaries and they chose to brighten the walls of their school classrooms with two wonderful murals. With the rest of the building still in need of some colour, they then decided to take the handprints of as many people as they could find and create a unique record of the pillars of the nursery block.
